I'm blessed in the subtropics to have a plethora of colorful plant life to play my muse for colors, shapes, and light. This rose was captured in the complementary colors of red-orange and blue-green with each fold of its petals warmed by the presence of a primary yellow. The opening blossom leaning over its right side offers rebirth and renewal at the close of 2023.
