This painting began as a dedication to Victor Jara's mother, Amanda, who used to sing an old folk song with the same title. As I was folding the last petals of these delicate roses into shape, I received news that his widow, Joan had joined him with the ancestors. Though I'll never be able to relay my gratitude in person, their deaths will forever shape the path we walk as Unidos Art and my life for the better.
Dedicated to every woman whose flowers were uprooted, stolen, or never given.

Do prints come watermarked or framed?
No. All prints come with the artist's signature as in the original painting and without the Unidos Art watermark. All prints come frame ready, however Unidos Art does not offer framing for prints at this time.
What kind of paper do you print on?
Hahnemühle William Turner photo rag 190-310 gsm, 100% cotton.
Do canvas prints come stretched and stapled?
Yes. All canvas prints are printed on Reflections Solvent Canvas and stretched on 3/4-inch deep Richeson Art Stretchers. Each canvas print comes with a hanging wire attached for immediate wall hanging.
