Whether its the daily grind or current events, 2023 has been exhausting for no shortage of reasons. In this figure study from my Farm Life mini-series, I sought to evoke a sense of restorative relaxation amid these laborious times. Named after the Hispanicized Roman tradition of napping after lunch, I hope La Siesta offers reprieve and balance to the viewer before they continue trudging on.
