As I approached the end of my university studies, I had incredibly conflicting thoughts about my future possibilities and goals. Juxtaposed Pastel was my attempt at creating some unity in the plethora of chances, choices & turbulence. The varied impasto textures with swirls, parallel lines, and even sponging, were all different prospects I wanted to explore the ins and outs of. This muted pastel palette was inspired by the pleasure I found in any color, no matter how muted, amongst the chilliest winters.
