It's Raining Out There - Original Painting

Materials: Fluid acrylic on stretched cotton canvas

Dive deep into my study of water bending. I chose a white fluid canvas background to let the trio of teal, Prussian blue and micaceous iron oxide provide all my depth. Using the swipe technique, both silicone and pigment were laid to form shifting striations. The grit added from the micaceous iron oxide creates a sandy texture amongst the fluid blues.
