Freefall was created during the most turbulent adjustment of my life thus far–graduating from college just before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns. Hauntingly telling, this pour parallels the slippage of time as my opportunity to enter the workforce was pushed further and further due to the 2020 pandemic. I sought to represent a sense of confidence inflicted by an eerie, powerful force. The calming blues and greens are my base to mark smooth transitions, while the silver, magenta, and pink interrupt the peace with jarring energy.
