Fallacy of Fault - Original Painting

Fallacy of Fault puts the art in catharting. Created from frustration, pleas, and an expression of inadequacy, this canvas explores my own struggles with self-judgment. Layers of acrylic in fluid, heavy body & ink form the canvas's landscape, allowing the splats, schmears, and palette knife strokes to play and accentuate one another. Reminiscent of Dickinson's It's All I Have to Bring Today (26), I let go of the weight I carried and left it all on the canvas.
